This is a simple review to write because I have been a user of 7th Generation toilet paper since it launched:Softness- if you are expecting charmin or quilted northern you definitely need to change your expectations. It’s definitely not that soft. But it’s also not Scott’s 1000. I’d say it’s in the middleAbsorbency: similar statement as softness. Gets the job done.Additional notes: I did notice a change in the toilet paper on my last subscribe and save shipment that I received July 2020, it was a lesser quality but I do know toilet paper manufacturers sometimes outsource their products if their machines are at capacity. This could have caused a little variation but not an earth shattering, not gonna wipe my bum with this paper type of variationOverall: happy with the product, would love to see a version where they don’t use cardboard tubes to further reduce impact to the world

This stuff is normally $15 for a 12-pack at my local grocery store — or at least their softer variety is, and now I know why.I found this product last week, and jumped on it. Thought “holy what! 48 rolls of Seventh Gen for the same price as 24 from the store?”However, it’s apparently not the same stuff I’ve gotten from the store…it’s a bit cheaper made, but still gets the job done. And at this price? I (as a single man living in an apartment alone) just stocked up on more than a year’s worth of environmentally friendly toilet paper, for right at $60. That’s a fricken steal. If you’re the type that needs your bum caressed with softness, and your fiber-intake is not optimal, then steer clear of this. However, if your diet is what it should be, making you a 1-2 wipe kinda person, and you’re not going to dig while wiping (you shouldn’t need to anyway), then this does the job wonderfully. Combine it with the occasional flushable wet-wipe, and you’re golden. At $0.63 per roll, for post-consumer-recycled paper toilet paper, this is about as comfy as you’ll get between feeling environmentally-friendly while wiping your bum and keeping your wallet cozy.

This set lasts my family of 3 for bout 4 months on average. It came nicely shipped and packed accordingly . The quality is pretty good , it has some plush and softness to it

I originally bought this as a gift for a family member. I felt good about helping the environment while giving such a rare and precious gift to show how much I care. Is it a little more expensive than other brands? Sure. But isn’t the environment worth it?After hearing their stories of this wondrous product, I had to try it for myself. Wow! Am I ever glad I did. I considered leaving the package unopened as the value was sure to increase in the future much like my Beanie Baby collection in the 90s, but I couldn’t resist. I felt like my whole life was leading up to the moment when I opened the package. Were those angels singing? Now that I’ve been spoiled on the good stuff, I can never go back to the sand paper I was using. Even my cats love it! They showed me how we could decorate the house by stringing the paper over furniture and leaving sheets scattered on the floor. The empty rolls serve a dual purpose. I use them as cord protectors now that my kitten has started chewing on power cords. Such a versatile product!Did you know that you can use toilet paper in place of facial tissue and paper towel but not the other way around? Be kind to your toilet and don’t clog it up with that three-ply nonsense. You also may have heard that bidets are the wave of the future. Before you go investing in such a speculative concept, you’ll want to try this out for yourself. You won’t regret it.

Thank you again to all of the people working for Amazon! We know you’re all putting extra hours to help all of us sheltering in place, and I just wanted to send on a thank you from my family.

It’s TP. Not much to say about it. It’s recycled but it’s pretty soft and pretty sturdy. I’ve been using this brand for at least 10 years and it’s all I buy. I bought this size as it was the cheapest way to go at the time.

  12. DisneyDenizen

We have been using this recycled toilet paper exclusively for several years now.PROS:–It is nice and soft. I have used recycled TP that felt like you were wiping with sand paper or packing paper. This TP is nice and soft.–It’s absorbent. In fact, it is ironically MORE absorbent than expensive cushy brands like Charmin. Granted, Charmin is super soft, but it kind of slides along your tushy without accomplishing as much as this toilet paper. We actually prefer Seventh Generation TP to Charmin for that very reason. It works better!–Because it is thinner (but not too thin!), it is not going to clog your toilet the way Charmin can. And does.–You get to tell people you use “recycled toilet paper”! Think about it…–Environmentally friendly!CONS:–None. So, it’s environmentally friendly and it works better than pricy brands. What are you waiting for?? 🙂

I had been wanting to do the switch on “popular” tp brands to a more sustainable option. –So, one bonus of this covid-19 pandemic, I found seventh generation tp available (along with a great bidet system) during the “tp vanishing phase” throughout walk-in stores. lolI find the tissue perfect…it’s not fuzzy, not too thick, highly absorbant and we don’t go through it quickly. For reference, I never liked Charmin (fuzzed too easily), never liked Kleenex Cottonelle (always seemed too thick and a waste), I wasn’t a huge fan of Scott (but favored it above Charmin and Cottonelle), and I prefered Quilted Northern. I would say a fair comparison would be that Seventh Generation TP reminds me of a cross between Scott and Quilted Northern.

This is the best toilet paper I’ve found. I have to buy recycled paper products for my own conscious and for the trees. Ther s not enough trees to last forever and the rate they’re being cut down. Especially for toilet paper. I can’t see cutting a tree down for wiping out butts. That’s crazy! Even if that wasn’t my main concern. I would still choose this toilet paper over all others. It’s a good amount, soft and affordable as long as you’re paying attention to where you’re buying it. Most times Amazon has a great price and they even toss you a 15% coupon here and there. If not Target is my go to place. Great toilet paper and we don’t have to cut down trees to wipe our butt. Save our trees for the future generations of all species!!!

Best toilet paper. I’m a toilet paper snob and started subscribing to the product (my husband tried to bring Scott’s into our house – never again). It’s durable, soft, and recycled.
