Got it for my young son – he loved sitting on it- how it rolled easy to carr, fits a lot. Very durable – it tumbled down about 70 steps and not a dent. People at the airport wanted to know what brand it was that held up so good and did not break or open. Highly recommend!

Bought this three piece luggage set for a long trip abroad. The hard shell withstood the plane, train, metro, and cab rides and still looks brand-new. The inside zippers glided effortlessly and the inside lining is very sturdy. I have spent a lot of money over the years to replace all level of quality and price luggage for my extensive travels. I can say by far that this was the best experience with luggage I have had to date. At one point, on a cab ride, the back door of the van opened and the carry-on suitcase flew out onto the street. The suitcase slid on the asphalt for about half a block. When we recovered the suitcase the contents were intact (including my husband’s work laptop) and the suitcase had a small scratch on the side but was otherwise fine. I expected a crack on the outside or something else to be wrong, but no, the spinner wheels and handle worked perfectly. I would highly recommend this luggage set for its easy of use, light weight, sturdy materials and the nice colors available make them easy to spot amid the luggage sea. I am very happy with my great investment!

I’m a medium heavy business traveler (2-3 trips a month within the US, typically 2 trips a year to Europe). This case is ideal for trips up to a week; more if you have laundry facilities at your destination. It is acceptable as carryon for most US flights (won’t fit on a CRJ or the 1-side of an ERJ, but then nothing does). Haven’t taken it to Europe yet but it seems not to meet the exact dimensional requirements for some European carriers, especially those operating smaller equipment – the wheels send it over the edge. So, buyer beware on that point. The interior is divided up very sensibly. If you pack with the rolling technique, you can fit a huge amount of stuff in it, and it won’t move around. It’s also easy to live out of the bag; it opens like a clamshell and you have good access to everything inside. The zippable partition stops stuff falling out of the “top” half of the clamshell while you close the case. Interior pockets are great for small articles like chargers, combs and the like.Seems reasonably durable – I’ve checked it a few times since I bought it and while it has sustained some scuffs, the shell is still unbroken, as are all the zippers.

So I know I wasn’t buying a samsonite or delsey but realistically I’ve worked for airlines and know what happens to your luggage. My previous big suit case ate it after going through snow and ice so I needed a new one for here in LA on other trips. I chose to go with a hard case because like I mentioned I used to work for an airline and know that if you have a hard case the likelihood of damage is less than with soft.I wasn’t expecting much from the reviews but was surprised to see at the quality of this thing, it seems sturdy enough, wheels all work and it’s easy to maneuver when you get out of baggage claim and surprisingly not that heavy-I packed for a month in LA and this wasn’t to hard for me to chuck into the SUV. I’m waiting to see how it does in the ice and snow but so far it’s held up to trips in LA and Maui.

Best affordable carry-on luggage! I typically buy my luggage from Ross, Marshall’s, or Burlington Coat Factory. The prices typically range from $69-$89 for medium to large suitcases. This was my first time looking for a carry-on luggage and I was not pleased with the prices at Ross and Marshall’s. The cheapest I could find was $69 and that was the same price as a medium size luggage! I turned to amazon to look for more affordable carry-on luggage and was surprised to see one from AmazonBasics! I had to get it because 1.) it was from amazon and their products are pretty good 2.) the price! I will list my pros and cons:PROS:+Price–for $49.99 you can’t get a better price for a carry-on hard-side luggage!+Size–perfect carry-on size–I did not have any trouble fitting my luggage into the overbin for Delta, Ryan Air, Olympic Air, Vueling Airlines, and SAS Airlines. The size of the luggage was compliant for all the airlines I had just listed.

I’ve flown a few more times internationally to Italy & Greece via American Airlines and had no problems size wise with this luggage.+Sturdy–I had just bought a Samsonite brand carry-on luggage at Ross for $69 (which I returned), the quality of the AmazonBasics luggage was comparable to Samsonite+Color–I feel the color choices was good–they offer the typical black and even a funky color like orange!+Inside storage–I really like the little compartment pockets. They’re perfect for little nick-knacks+Wheels felt sturdy, smooth and secure–I rolled this bag through the bumpy rocky roads of Prague and Brussels and they survived!CONS:-The handle does not feel sturdy–sometimes I felt the handle was gonna break off. But it did not….yet-The handle going up and down is very loose–not sure if it was just my luggage that was faulty, but I had difficulties getting the handle to go up and STAY up. I’m assuming the bolts were loose that is why the handle kept falling downOverall, I highly recommend! The price is too good to pass up and it is structurally overall an amazing carry-on luggage

I really like this suitcase, especially for the price! It looks good and the build quality feels nice; The quality reveals that it isn’t a top-of-the-line piece of luggage, but there’s nothing that feels or looks exactly deficient. It’s simply a situation where, if you put this beside a $200 piece of luggage, you’ll be able to tell which is the $200 luggage. I recently used my AmazonBasics spinner as checked baggage on a roundtrip flight from LA to Sacramento, with a 5 day stay, and was very happy to have it. It worked well, held up beautifully, and the orange color is easily visible which is awesome when picking up your checked luggage. The only thing I don’t like is that the texture on the outside surface doesn’t allow me to plaster the suitcase with stickers to suit the whims of my inner-child; Some stickers will work but I’ve tried a few that just slide right off.Storage is ample with multiple zippered pockets, and a compartment for storing shoes, etc. The 4 multi-directional wheels are incredibly handy when weaving your way through the airport, and the telescoping handle feels secure. If you’re a casual traveler who only occasionally flies or enjoys road-trips, this is a fantastic piece of luggage. If I was a frequent flyer who’d find himself on a plane monthly, I’d probably pick up a piece of luggage that was a bit more premium; Maybe something built to be gorilla-proof with externally-accessible pockets for quickly accessing documents, etc.I picked up a TSA lock for it, as well, since it doesn’t have any locking mechanisms of its own.Edit June 2018:I’ve used this suitcase a couple times since, and a buddy of mine recently borrowed it for a trip to Colorado. During that trip, the airlines had shipped his luggage to the wrong state and when he received it back a few days later the TSA lock was missing, but the suitcase was still in fine condition despite being schlepped around everywhere. It’s still going strong, and I haven’t encountered any tears in the interior or exterior, failing zippers, sticking wheels, broken handles, etc.

I’m a flight attendant so obviously I travel a lot. I’ve been searching for a chic, easy to roll hard suitcase that can handle an enormous amount of use. I just received my suitcase this week. Currently I’m traveling for the first time with my new suitcase and I LOVE IT!!! It rolls with complete ease!!! It’s sturdy too!! My arms and back feel absolutely zero stress. It feels like it’s floating! My smaller bag is attached to the top and it still feels weightless. The only con is the handle moves but I don’t foresee that being a problem. The handle on my last bag moved and I had that one for years so I’m not concerned. Thank you Amazonbasics for making my travel life easy!

Main concern for me was size will fit with carry on regulations. Due to people just upload pictures of issues and what we really need its pictures with luggage in action. Here my experience in images, fits perfects not embarrassing moments.

As someone who does not know luggage from my elbow, I just went with the most affordable looking option. I was a little wary of some reviews that claimed their bags got damaged easily, but I truly think they seriously mishandled their product. My suitcase went to Rio de Janeiro and back, almost 10,000 miles total, and up and down over 4 flights of stairs each direction with me banging it on almost every step the whole way. The only “damage” is a black scuff mark from someone else’s luggage wheel skidding across in the bottom of our bus.The wheels on the bottom are incredibly convenient, and surprisingly save a lot of pain and pressure on your shoulder and wrist as you are wheeling it from place to place. I would highly recommend this suitcase for people with arthritis, carpal tunnel, or any other joint/shoulder/neck/back pains. The only problem with the 4 wheel system is when you stand still for a while, if you’re on a slope of any sort, it’s going to slide almost no matter what you do- but if you just put a hand on top of it gently, it will stay stationary. The luggage itself is spacious and has just the right amount of pockets and division to pack light or heavy. The weight of the case itself is distributed very evenly, making it easy to pick up and carry around. The handles look small, but they are deceiving- they lift up very easily to fit very large men’s hands. The outside shell is also very nice. I bought this suitcase with a bright green luggage tag with the hope that it would essentially be the most obnoxiously easy to spot suitcase. When I walked through customs and could not even see my classmates, I was able to pick my suitcase out when it was crowded by 3 other rows of suitcases. I walked straight through ~200 suitcases and picked mine up without having to even think about it. Besides being easy to see, the color is also very pretty on its own.All in all: this is a great suitcase, and is most certainly worth the price you pay for it and more. I see no reason to upgrade and buy new luggage until this one completely wears out (which I assume will not happen for a very long time.)

Can’t beat this suitcase for the price. I compared it against ones from other sites (eBags, etc.) and I couldn’t find any that were in this price range and had features like this one. All the ones with features like this were more than double the price. Then it arrived and I loved the quality!! I wouldn’t recommend this luggage for someone who is a weekly airline traveler but if you go a few times per year, this will do the trick. The largest size (28″) will fit your extremely large items but be careful on the overall weight limit as it is a big bag and you could easily exceed the airlines 50 lb limit if you stuff it full. Yet another AmazonBasics winner!!
