Where are Mama Bear Gentle Touch Diapers made?

Mama Bear Gentle Touch Diapers are made in the USA.

What does “zero waste to landfill facility” mean?

Mama Bear Gentle Touch Diapers are produced in a zero waste to landfill facility. This means that none of the waste that occurs during the production of our diapers is sent to a landfill. The waste is typically reused or recycled.

How often should I change my baby’s diaper?

Diapers should be changed whenever baby has peed or pooped; the wetness indicator lets you know when baby is wet. A good rule is to change every 2-3 hours. This includes before or after feedings or naps, right before bedtime and when baby wakes up.

Should I choose Mama Bear Gentle Touch Diapers or Mama Bear Our Best Fit Ever Diapers?

We invite you to try the diaper that works best for you. Please see the comparison below to learn the differences. If you aren’t satisfied, we’ll refund you for any reason within a year of purchase. You don’t need to return the diapers for a refund.

The diapers aren’t as thick as a buggies Brand, but any diaper that can hold up overnight on my son that pee so much I deem it an awesome diaper. Even with a fully loaded per diaper in the morning, i haven’t witnessed any gel from the diaper which is excellent!

Until just recently, we had been using Target’s diapers for our 3 year old. He wears size 7s currently. There aren’t many options out there in his size, so when Target changed their diapers (they’re smaller now!) I went on a huge search for something more affordable than Pampers that would fit better.I was so pleased when I pulled the diapers out of the package and they were an inch longer than the new target diapers. They’re way softer, unscented, and they’ve done a great job of containing preschooler-sized pees. We’ve found our new favorite, and I may end up switching everyone else to these, too. (We have 3 in diapers and 1 transitioning out.)

Wow I’m impressed! I’ve purchased the regular Mama Bear diapers in the past and recently decided to give the gentle touch version a chance. Reading the current reviews of the product it’s often mentioned how thin these diapers are. Compared to Targets Up and Up brand of diapers (see photo), these are noticeably thinner and very soft. I was surprised how well these diapers hold wetness because of how thin they are. The longest my daughter wore these diapers was about 8 hours overnight, no leaks. What was most impressive to me was that out of every diaper my daughter has worn (Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, Honest, Target) this is the best fitting diaper on her! I’ve never put a diaper on her that fit so perfect. I will definitely be buying this brand again in the future.

We honestly didn’t know about Mama Bear Amazon brand diaper until many kids later. We more always that the thought that if we deviate from the Hospital-recommended brands that we are that parents. But if you look at it now, this Amazon brand is as pricey as the band names. Thus, we only wait until that is a big sale along with subscribe and save and buy a bunch to stock up.As you can see in my picture, number five Amazon brand is quite bigger the number four of the same brand. I’m currently using number five for my almost 3-year-old and number four diaper for my 18 months old, just to give you some reference. When we run out or if we’re too lazy to go find number 5 diaper, or 3-year-old still fits number four, it just a bit snug. And being a boy, I will recommend going one number up to get them some “wiggle” room, if you know what I mean.Overall, I noticed that the brands across the board have decreased in diaper thickness and quality throughout the years. To me, after experiencing all types of diapers from organic to hospital recommended to supermarket brand, I see very slight difference in the quality and the ability for the diaper to absorb across the board. I also don’t see any difference with so-called hypoallergenic brands versus regular brands in terms of diaper rash or sensitivity. Also, Amazon brand seems to be more on sale on Amazon versus the other brands, so that’s always a plus. This brand also has less leakage overnight than others that other brands that we’ve tried (I think the purple one leaks the most overnight). We also have not noticed any explosive diapers with this brand, but if your child has a tendency to have explosive mishaps, I recommend to go at least 1 size up, especially to protect the back where most explosion happens. That is one downside that happens to not just this brand, but sometimes when attempting to attach the straps, one of the straps tend to rip off. A solution to this would be to double up the diaper with the ripped strap diaper inside, and when the diaper is full, just dispose of the inside diaper and keep the outside diaper since it’s still clean. I didn’t find this out until I got tired of wasting clean diapers just because of ripped straps.

I’m actually super pleased with these! We cloth diaper, but use disposables occasionally when we stay with family or on longer car rides. I’ve trialed various brands, and our favorite has been hello bello because our son has a super long body and they fit him well. Another reviewer here had compared these to hello bello so I decided to try a pack since the price is so good, especially with the registry discount. Lo and behold these actually fit him even better! They are not as soft as hello bello, but still plenty soft. The sides are nice and stretchy, and the tabs are suuuper strong. Like other reviews state, the wetness indicator does spread out, but who cares? The best part is two things: First, they truly are good for sensitive skin. My son has eczema, food allergies, and just overall super sensitive skin and so far he has had no problem with these! They might not work for everyone but for our kiddo they’re good, which is a relief.Second, they’re pretty dang good at catching poo. IMO, absolutely nothing catches a blowout as well as a cloth diaper, but these are pretty great! We’ve only had one accident but it was the kind no diaper was going to contain, so I don’t blame them.I think these are our new backup diapers! Definitely give them a try, it’s nice since you can buy a single sleeve to trial before getting a box and the price is really good!

Many reviews mention the thin quality of these diapers making it less quality than say original mama bear or even huggies, pampers, kirkland etc. but I prefer the thinner make of these diapers!! It reaches all my expectations from absorbency to leak protection!! I love that it isn’t bulky like every other diaper and can reach those expectations of a diaper! 😊 It makes them barely noticeable which I love! I have been using them since my daughter was 9 months and is now 20 months so I can’t speak for the consistency of newborn poop. But I can’t express enough how much I have loved these diapers since I started using them! They are super soft! The waste tab things are soooo much stretchier than huggies diapers which help the diaper stay in place rather than sagging! And I love the little blue strips that help the diaper stay in place as well! These diapers are identical to the earth and eden diapers which I have also used on my daughter but found these at $10 cheaper!!For the price,I’d at least give them a try 😉 you might love them like I have, despite other reviewers!

I’ve been using Pampers Swaddlers exclusively for three years. I wanted to send diapers ahead of time to my parents house for thanksgiving so I wouldn’t have to pack them, and Mama Bear was the only brand that had a small enough pack that didn’t require Amazon Fresh to be delivered. So I’m trying these out this week and I am floored by how great they are.Let me start by saying my first Mama Bear purchase were the diaper pail refills for my diaper genie. Those are the most affordable refills and they’re just as good as the brand name refill because they *are* exactly the same. I know this because the box it ships in literally says “Playtex” on them.So I was wondering if it would be a similar situation with the diapers and I think there’s a good chance they are in fact made by Pampers. They’re feel the same… equally soft, absorbent, and comfortable on my son as Pampers Swaddlers, they even have the yellow line that turns blue. The only difference is they’re plain white with a Mama Bear logo on the waistband. They have the same message on the package about the absorbent material as Pampers, word for word. The fasteners are a little different but I legit think they’re Pampers, which I wish I had known sooner because I could have saved so much money on diapers over the years.I guess next I’ll have to try Mama Bear wipes!

I am comparing these new gentle touch diapers to the original mama bear diapers.I have to say that for an almost $10 price difference there is minimal difference in quality. There are a few differences that I prefer, the gentle touch are a more snug fit, there Is less bulk than the original, and a lot less extra unnecessary fabric along the sides of the legs, and also at the waist band. The gentle touch are softer than the original, they are a smidge thinner, but the absorbency level doesnt seem compromised. My one and only complaint is that the wetness indicator is very faint when it turns blue, where as on the original it was much darker. I love Mama bear diapers and will continue to get the gentle touch style so long as they’re available.

My son is autistic and not potty trained yet. He outgrew size 6 diapers and we didn’t know what to do. We tried goodnites and they leaked TERRIBLY overnight even with changing once in the middle of the night. We also tried pull ups and they were a joke. They’re built very thin in the middle like a swim diaper. My next step was to look into incontinence diapers and I found out that even the smallest size were way too big for him still. Feeling defeated I decided to see if I could find a reliable size 7 diaper. There are very few companies that make a size 7 and the others I had tried (luvs for example) were terrible quality. We decided to give these a try and couldn’t be happier. They fit him perfectly, they hold really well overnight, and they’re a great price. I wish more diaper companies were size inclusive. I’m so thankful we found these! For reference my son is a size 5T and 40lbs and these fit him great with room to grow.
