Used this on a newly loaned lawn for my front yard. I was trying different types of seeds around the property. I am very happy with the results! Watered it daily and fertilized it and a few week a bare dirt area is now healthy and green. There are small patches now bigger than a few inches that didnt take but over all great results. I am especially happy it wasnt filled with weeds like another brand I got for the back lawn.

Throw down seeds HEAVY. I put down 4x the recommended amount of seeds. Then put down the recommended of starter fertilizer. Rake everything into the soil. Water 3x a day, just 1 slow pass. Do not over water. Baby grass roots are not deep so you are just wasting your money if you over water. My outdoor temperature has been 75-90 last 14 days, grass still grew.

Great grass seed for shady spots! I’ve been buying various grass seeds supposedly designed for shade for 2years and couldn’t grow any there. Did my research and found this great fescue! 3 months later I’ve got grass where there was none – tall, green, and getting thicker every day.

I’ve gotten compliments on how much thicker and green my lawn is compared to my neighbors.’ My lawn was basically nothing but weeds when I moved in, but after a lot of weed control and a lot of this brand of seed my grass looks pretty good.I have a german shepherd who I let run in my yard when I’m gone, the grass still manages to stay alive despite his running around. I’m also prone to cutting through my grass when I get home, and its never developed a “path of convenience.”

I plan to save up and get more of this stuff. It works in Mississippi sandy nutrient deprived soil(There’s shade and open sun spots in my yard. Just spread it on thick.(over seed) . Hurricane season really helped. I spread this stuff in the middle of summer and it grew, LOL. I’m probably going to wait till the spring to finish the rest of the yard(will post pictures then). Also, there is a lot of crab grass and dead spots in the yard, so I’m basically filling in the yard.

After years of chickens, our grass disappeared. Since we were locked up on our land due to the COVID-19, we decided why not try to do some good. We planted a large potion of the area and fenced it off so the chickens could not eat the seed. Within a week to week and a half, we had several sections of grass growing and I think we may do a second around of seeds just to fill in. So far, we are extremely happy with the product and we are about two or three weeks in.

I was really pleased to see that in less than in a week or so, the grass was out considerably. It’s been two weeks now and it’s all grown!! I bought it just to see if it worked, and honestly I wasn’t very optimistic because we tried other seeds before. The area is under a tree and there’s shade about 20 hours of the day…Then one day I was outside and I looked, and I realized that there was grass growing (I totally forgot that I had planted seeds and honestly I wasn’t even watering it!). I called my husband and showed him and he’s like ‘hey, the seeds are good’, then I remembered about the seeds, silly me. I love this product!.. I just bought the 10 pound bag and I think I’m sticking to this one (unless someone comes up with seeds that grows in less than a day..(wink*)

I am new to gardening but I love this grass seed. For the past two summers, my grass gets dried and brown all over. The gardener keeps reseeding yet the same thing happens. So I decided to try my hand at it. Beginner’s luck maybe, my neighbors and friends complement how beautiful my grass looks. I’ve bought around 5 of the 5lb bags plus I sow it with peat moss and my results are truly amazing. I’m about to purchase more for the outside of my fence, I have a pretty big yard but I am impressed with this seed. My only issue is it does come with weeds so I use weed b gone.
