Other brands for mature cats are SO expensive and my fur baby does not like them. She like this! She has had no stomach upset or any other problems. Hooray! For some strange reason I cannot buy this in stores so I am hppy to get it from here. I recommend.

I use this kind and the urinary tract health kind and my cat loves this one. He’s maintained his weight and his coat looks great too! He doesn’t shed as much as he used to when I fed him Meow Mix. Our vet said Purina was a good brand so that makes me feel better about feeding this one to him.

When he turned 7 a few months ago, I tried giving him Purina ONE Vibrant maturity and another Purina Senior food. He’s doing well on both and he loves them. In fact, he’s learned to “tap” my arm to ask for his food.

I have indoor/outdoor cats- One of which has special dietary needs due to allergies.I finally came up with a mix of foods that help her with her allergies and she has been noticeably so much happier.I started mixing this food into her usual mix to see if I could help tackle her weight struggles at the same time. She’s not obese, but she’s overweight.I haven’t been using it long enough to see any real weight changes, but my cat’s energy levels have definitely risen.She now hops and runs around while playing, no longer just rolling around on her back.Her mood has changed for the better, too. I have seen her make fewer confontations with one of my other cats, whom she very much dislikes. She hardly every growls or throws a fit when he walks by, and that’s just since I started mixing this food into her diet. (Though I know I can’t fix the hissing. Stubborn girl just doesn’t like boys.)

UPDATE: After a full bag on Purina ONE Healthy Metabolism, my 7 year old fat cat is climbing, jumping, and acting out like he’s not done in years. This stuff is gold. Same dry amount, same wet food. Nothing changed except I changed from Indoor Advantage to Healthy Metabolism.ORIGINAL: Wow, this stuff seems to give my cat more energy. My cat was getting chunky, so I was intrigued by this new ONE “Healthy Metabolism” with L carnitine, and the research seems to back the fancy title.My cat has been on ONE Indoor Advantage for several years, and hairball formula before that, so I knew he’d likely accept this Metabolism food, and he did. I figured it would take a few months to see a difference but honestly, he seems to have more energy within a few days already. I’m not doing anything different than mixing in 1/4 c of this healthy metabolism dry, either. I can’t wait to see what he’s like when it replaces all his dry food!

I purchased this just less than a month ago, with the hope that it could be a solution to my vet’s recommendation that my cat lose 2lbs. I purchased the smallest bag so I could try it before committing to my usual larger bag size. My cat loves the taste. He’d been eating Purina Beyond Simply Natural cat food, a more expensive product that he’s always found agreeable. I mixed his old and new cat foods together during the first week, but he had no hesitation of eating the new food. While he’s only been eating it for three weeks, I can tell he’s already lost weight. His energy is also way up — he’s been jumping, climbing, and playing outside more. Overall, I definitely recommend this cat food to anyone looking for a low-effort solution to their cat’s weight problem.The single caveat I have is a superficial one, but worth noting. The pieces of food are smaller than my cat’s typical food, and they seem to go stale a bit faster. My cat is finicky about stale food, so I’ve found I can’t leave as much out for him to graze on as I used to. So just be forewarned that you may not want to put a bunch of food out at once if your cat is similarly picky.

We have tried so many that claim to ease stomach issues and lesson cats throwing up and it was all a waste of money…but Purina One Vibrant Maturity Senior 7+ Adult dry cat food REALLY WORKS!! She went from throwing up on average, 4-5 times a week to now maybe 2 times a month!!! Other than being an older gal (10 years old) She is health (thank God) and she likes the flavor of this food and it’s easy on her tummy too!
