I just returned from a trip, flying on Delta. I took the photos when I returned home. There is a small lock, which I didn’t use, that came with the bag in the zipper pouch attached in the center. No problems at all stowing this bag in the overheads on three different planes. There was a smaller plane for the last leg of my trip home, and I needed to gate check this bag, but it looked great when I got it back. Nothing damaged or broken. I also was able to wheel it around easily with a heavy back pack tote setting on top, slipped over the extended handles. My gates were far apart in the terminal, and I was able to walk quickly and hop on and off moving walkways. The bag was very stable moving along with me at my side.I did not expand the bag in order to maintain the required size limitations. I was very impressed at how much I was able to pack in this bag. I traveled to California for a week, spending time out on the coast for a few days and then in the mountains, so I needed a variety of clothes. Here is what fit in the bag:3 – long pants4 – short sleeve shirts3 – long sleeve shirts2 – leggings1 – yoga pants1 – long sleeved zip fleece jacket1 – long sleeve button up blouse2 – light weight cardigans1 – nightgown1 – light weight robe1 pair of flats1 pair of Sketcher sneakers1 pair of slippers1 collapsible wide brim hatI used 3 small packing cubes to organize the following items:3 scarves2 bras10 days of socks and underwearI was even able to add a new sweatshirt I purchased to the bag without expanding.I’ve only used it for this one trip, so can’t comment about it’s durability, but great bag for the price.

I read many negative reviews but I have to say I’ve used my set to death in the 3 years I’ve had it and it’s still in great working order. I travel frequently for work and quite a bit for personal vacation travel as well. My luggage, particularly the smaller carry-on, has been on many flights and is still functioning very well. It’s become a little scraped here and there, but that’s expected with frequent airport baggage handling. The inside fabric on a couple of the pieces is slightly torn from overstuffing my cases and trying to zip them (my own fault), and the smaller case handle is getting a little wobbly, but I would expect that at this price point and after so many uses. I’m actually getting new luggage (just because I’ve become a little tired of this color), and am giving this set to my daughter-in-law. She’s very happy to have it as it still looks and works great!

Wow! This suitcase is amazing and has been cleared for all flights I have been on. In the last six weeks I have flown delta, united, jet blue, southwest, and American and I have been able to use this as a carry on. The suitcase holds about 7-10 days worth of clothes, two pairs of shoes (sneakers and heels) and two comestic bags (one for toiletries and one for make-up)! Worth the buy!!

I bought this bag as a carry-on for holiday travels. I was a little worried about the quality of the bag just from reading other reviews, but it was so inexpensive I went ahead and took the plunge. I am not disappointed at all, this bag exceeded my expectations. The navy blue is really pretty, and the shell seems very sturdy. The wheels looked a little cheap, but I love that they are 360 wheels, that really made navigating airports and whatnot pain-free. The handle is a perfect length, not too long or short. The interior is very spacious, and there’s an option to expand the bag in order to fit even more stuff in it. Without expanding, I managed to fit a week’s worth of clothing, toiletries, shoes, and Hanukkah presents without squishing anything. This bag is the perfect size for carry-on traveling. We made it through TSA without issue and this sucker fit into the overhead bin with no fuss at all. Overall, I’m very pleased with this bag and I would encourage anyone doing any type of traveling to purchase it.

This is a great carry on suitcase. We recently traveled to three countries, and only brought carry on luggage. It’s sturdy and handled well, especially as we almost missed a flight and had to run through the airport. It easily fits in the overhead bin, even when expanded. We stayed in seven hotels over 14 days, so we were constantly in and out of our luggage. My husband has the same brand suitcase in a different color, and it performed well also. I paid $50 for this and it was money well spent.

IMPORTANT SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTThis suitcase comes with a little combination lock that has instructions on how to set it, but do not, I repeat, DO NOT, excitedly play around with the lock and suitcase immediately after receiving it, leaving it in the closet until a few days before your trip, only to realize you have now forgotten the combination you hastily set in your excitement. No matter how many articles you read on locksmithing or YouTube videos you watch on breaking combinations, you will never open that lock. Attempts to reach customer service will be in vain. After a Google search of “Rockland Luggage” and a quick, smooth-talking email, you may receive the following email:Hi Kaely,I believe you have the wrong Rockland. We build attachments for heavy equipment.JasonRockland ManufacturingYou will find that Jason is right. You’ve contacted the wrong Rockland. The array of bulky tractors and equipment on their homepage should have been your first clue. Five excruciatingly long days may pass before you receive word from the correct customer service department of the luggage manufacturer, which isn’t Rockland at all, but Fox Luggage, in case you were wondering. You may even receive the following instructions:Default number is 0-0-01. Put 0-0-02. Press down ( C ) button3. Make your combination # from ( B )4. Push ( A ) button and ( C ) button will be up5. also the same time the lock will be opened based on your new setting numberIt’s been translated from Chinese, and hey, you’re probably not a translator so you can’t be one to judge. Unless you are a translator, in which case, perhaps you may submit your resume to Fox Luggage. I have the correct contact email address now, just let me know and I’d be happy to provide. But, as you have now found after discerning the above instructions, these instructions do not apply to you. They may have forgotten to include step six, which I have taken the liberty to write up:6. Don’t forget your combinationAs the hours count down to your impending departure, you will be forced to borrow your grandfathers bolt-cutters and forcibly remove the tiny Fort Knox from your zippered case. The lock will lay in tiny, crumbled pieces on the floor, but you can now race to fill your bag with all of your travel gear in record time. Hopefully you didn’t put a muffin or other perishable good inside the suitcase when you first attached your lock. That muffin will no longer be good. Don’t eat that muffin. Don’t forget your combination.

I bought this because I was flying from Ohio to the Alaska peninsula for work, would be in Alaska for 40-45 days, and I didn’t want to check any luggage. I flew on Delta, and Alaska Airlines. This carry-on was large enough to hold: 13 pair of underwear, 13 pair of socks, 6 bras, 6 pair of blue jeans, 4 tee shirts, 3 long sleeve shirts, a pair of sneakers, a hooded zip up fleece safety jacket, and odds and ends of things I could stuff in the cracks. Seems unbelivable, but as my sister remarked, I’m a packing ninja.Once I boarded the plane I was able to fit it into the overhead bin without problem, perfectly. As a warning for those considering expanding it for that extra room: DON’T! Unless you want to go through and take stuff out when it won’t fit. This carry-on fit through the bin opening with no extra room to spare.I had a layover in Chicago, and walked to a different terminal, which seemed like a million miles away. The wheels worked perfectly, the handle was sturdy, and when I stopped to wait at my gate I was able to set my back pack on top of it without any trouble. The outer shell is rugged, the zippers performed as would expect a zipper to perform. While I didn’t expand the sides for additional room, I played with it to see if it worked right, and it did. While I’m not excessively rough with my belongings, I expect a product to stand up to everyday wear and tear, and I don’t baby things. This carry-on did not disappoint. During the trip and afterwards, it has been banged around, dropped repeatedly while full and empty, slid on its front across a concrete parking lot, and yes it shows some wear but not as much as you would expect after heavy use.As a reminder, don’t mess with the included lock until you have read the directions on how to operate it.All in all, this carry-on exceeded my expectations.

I purchased for a trip to Vegas and after reading the reviews I was still on the fence whether to buy them or not.First impression was good… they roll really smoothly and easy to move around. I found that i different surfaces are questionable being the wheels are plastic. But in Vegas they worked as expected. If there are any surfaces that are uneven like brick or uneven sidewalk I found that it’s best to use 2 wheels then the 4. Every time I tried just rolling the suitcase with all 4 wheels on an uneven surface a wheel would get caught and I’d have to adjust to 2 wheel handling. The locks that come with the set (you get a lock with each bag) is worthless and I don’t suggest using them.I found that the larger suitcase is HUGE and for a 10 day trip was over kill so I chose to use the MEDIUM sized suitcase for my trip. Although the suitcase is light empty, with any luggage once you put your shoes and clothes in it does make it heavier. But I was able to fit 2 pairs of shoes, my clothes and my pillow and couple of caps with ease.I did not use the SMALL carry on sized suitcase either but will possibly use it in the future.I was really worried about the durability and I was prepared to get my luggage back with damaged wheels or cracks, and whatever other horrors I’ve read about in the reviews. But it really depends on how the luggage is handled at the airport…. thankfully I had no issues. The best part of this luggage is how easy it was to identify my bag at the baggage claim…Overall I was very pleased with this luggage set. I don’t know how they would hold up for international travel but for domestic trips I don’t see an issue.

I was looking for a carry-on that maxed out space – and this bag meets that need and more. On first trip with four US flights (Delta), easily fit in either wheels first or sideways – filled the overhead bin, sliding in and out with ease. On variety of smooth and uneven surfaces, the wheels are smooth, when going fast or slow. As far as the handle – yes, it seems wobbly, but performed just fine, even when the weight of heavy brief case slide on. Lastly, it did arrive with plastic smell (not horrible smell, but noticeable). After being left open in the garage for a few weeks, no residual smell. For only $40, this bag performs better than expectations. The only remaining question: durability over the long haul.Jan 2017 update: Many trips this year and still love this carry-on! No issues with overhead compartment. And while the handle has some wiggle, it has held up to heavy loads, including adding a heavy brief case with laptop – takes the weight well while on the roll and no sign of bend or break.

I cannot say enough about this luggage it is absolutely gorgeous. It is nice and tough on the outside with a rough finish to it which makes it look very expensive… got lots of compliments on it at the airport. It is huge on the inside, I packed way more than a week’s worth of clothing on the inside of the larger suitcase for a week-long trip to Chicago. I was able to pick pack a week’s worth for my daughter and I both! And the smaller carry-on is perfect for your toiletries, makeup and shoes to go along with the larger suitcase. As far as the smell that other reviewers have talked about it was slightly there but all I did was put a dryer sheet in the suitcases kept them closed for a day or two and then open them up day or two before my trip and the smell wasn’t even noticeable after that. At this price I’m telling you won’t beat the quality of these suitcases. Also, the 360 degree wheels make getting around, even in a wheelchair, with this luggage a dream!
