These eye drops were recommended to me by my ophthalmologist, who I trust completely. I’ve had four eye surgeries, two surgeries in each eye, for damages my eyes received after an accident. The surgeries – eventually – gave me the best eyesight I’ve ever had in my life, but they also left me with very dry, itchy eyes. As anyone who’s had eye surgery knows, they must not rub their eyes after surgery, and sometimes this prohibition against rubbing, as is my case, lasts a lifetime.I’ve tried several different brands of eye drops, with varying degrees of success. I use eyelash washes daily, (and I was told by the optometrist during one of my checkups that my eyelashes were “extremely clean”). However, when the doctor took a look, he agreed with the optometrist that my eyes were “very dry.” He prescribed TheraTears, and I began using them that afternoon, evening, and before bed. By morning, my eyes were feeling significantly better.Since that time, I’ve been using TheraTears morning and evening. My eyes are so comfortable now. They feel very hydrated, with no dryness. Unless you’ve actually experienced very dry eyes, you can’t imagine how uncomfortable they can be. Imagine a case of poison ivy in your eyes, and just wanting to rub and rub and rub, but you dare not. I always have a bottle of TheraTears in my medicine cabinet now and another in my purse. TheraTears also contain no preservatives, which is very important, since preservatives can actually make a dry eye condition worse. If you’ve ever suffered from dry eyes, or just scratchy, itchy eyes, and other eye drops have let you down, give TheraTears a try. I really think you’ll notice an almost immediate improvement.

Love these eye drops! I have very dry eyes, so I use these about 2-3 times per day when I remember (per the recommendation of my eye doctor). Before I was using Systane Ultra, which I also liked, but found them a bit too thick and “gel like”, and they left all of my eyelashes wet and stuck together. I like the consistency of Thera Tears better, I love that it comes in a 2-pack of 1 ounce bottles! The value on Amazon is great, two bottles cost the same as the price of one bottle at CVS near where I live.

This is the brand that Kaiser Permanente recommends for dry eyes! I have it from having Laser eye surgery that did not work so I willhave dry eyes the rest of my life; we use it for general dry eyes in the summer when the air conditioning sucks all the moisture from our house.l hghly recommend !!!

Fantastic! The first eyedrop I’ve found that doesn’t leave my eyes worse than they started! I’ve tried so many other brands of eyedrops, and they only irritated and dried out my eyes in a horrible, unending cycle of applications – I swear, they formulate them just so you’ll have to keep buying more! These are the best – I only put them in when my eyes feel terribly dry, and then they feel better for a long time after. No more putting drops in my eyes at night and waking up to drier eyes than I went to bed with! The bottle is also at least twice as large as your standard eye drops bottle!

Years of dry eyes and many bottles of drops later I am staying with Thera Tears. It is the best. I’ve had plugs inserted by an ophthalmalogist, the drainage ducts sealed (very painful and they eventually open up again). So it is drops for me. Thera Tears always works and LASTS. I keep buying Thera Tears and I am always very happy that I can get them on Amazon

Like many of you here I have battled dry eyes for years too. I have tried so many different brands and types of eye drops and though some had worked, I had to use them two to three times a day. Every morning I used to wake up with that feeling in the inside corner of my eyes (you know that rough burning feeling) and I knew my eyes were bloodshot. Last drops I used are the opcon-a and they worked by getting rid of the redness but the dryness could still be felt. So last week I came across these eye drops and saw how many people have benefited from them so I decided to give them a try and thank goodness I did!! This drops are a lubricant so your eyes will feel oily for about a minute but then they feel normal and refreshed. I went from using eye drops two to three times a day to one time every other day with Thera tears! I’m also taking fish oil supplements with omega 3 which is known to help eye health. Give it a try.

I’ve used it 2 days now and I like the feeling this lubricant provides over Visine’s Dry Eye Relief and Systane Ultra. Until I find a problem, this will be my new go-to eye lubricant. I work in desert environments a lot, so after work I’m always looking for an eye rinse/lubricant. Can’t wait to take a few bottles of this to my next job and see how it works in that environment.

I have severe dry eye and am allergic to preservatives used in eye lubricants. I hate the costly little vials that are supposed to be used once with the left over solution thrown away. I tried other bottled brands with no preservative and liked them. When it was time to reorder I saw this brand in an economy size and decided to try it. The first drop in my right eye was heavenly! I didn’t know my agitated eyes could feel so good! Absolutely fantastic! The itching and burning is gone…EUREKA! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I have been battling dry eyes my entire life. I can’t remember a day I woke up where I didn’t have bloodshot eyes and they would stay that way until I used drops. Even then I would have to continuously put drops in throughout the day. You name the brand, I tried it. I came across these about 6 months ago and for the first time in my life I don’t wake up with burning dry eyes and I don’t need to add drops constantly throughout the days. Most drops when applied burn and force your eyes to make tears. Somehow, there is no burn with these and yet they still work? Part of it is that these aren’t designed to burn your eyes and force tears. Rather, they are designed to mimic tears and moisturize. This means everyday when you’re adding drops you’re not tearing your natural eye lubricants apart but instead helping build them up. This makes it so your eyes are not contingent on getting drops constantly to maintain forced moisture. I apply them once in the morning every other day and that is all it takes now. Honestly, if you get a high quality omega 3 fish oil supplement and take one pill and a day in coordination with these every day or two, you too could finally get rid of the red eye curse. I didn’t get a discount on this or anything, I’m just writing the review to help anyone else like me who has a similar annoying and constant fight on their hands. Hope this helps. Cheers!

As someone who uses A LOT of electronics, especially due to my job, I highly recommend these eye drops. I started experimenting with different brands after driving to/from work and on multiple occasions feeling a sharp painful feeling in my eyes and having to squint to relieve the pain while still trying to keep my eyes open to drive properly. While other brands seemed ‘okay’ and helped prevent these scary situations, I found this particular brand to feel the best. It feels smooth and cool on my eyeballs with no sticky feeling like other brands. It also works pretty quick as my eyes feel freshensd within a few minutes. One downside is that it isn’t guaranteed to remove red eyes. My eyes tend to get reddish when tired, and while the drops help with any irritation I feel, my eyes can still look a bit red. I think I just have particularly sensitive eyes however, so I won’t knock a star off for that.I would recommend getting these every month. While there’s enough liquid to last multiple months depending on how often you use them, it seems the most ‘fresh’ on my eyes when used within a month’s time. Personally I have them on a monthly subscription shipment.
