Grows in El Paso summer and fall, so it says a lot for the product! I was skeptical of getting this because of the dry heat but it did grow.. slowly but it grew. I tried the commercial mix and that one grows a lot faster in the dry weather and looks really good.

Absolutely love it. To have a thick green lawn from seed in South Texas is a miracle.

It grows in houston.it mixes well with st. Augustine yards.a lot of people use perenial rye grass in the winter here to keep yard green all year (but it dies in the summer).this seed actually takes the heat.the Augustine grows like crazy in the summer which provides some shade for this seed in the super hot months.then when winter hits this seed takes over just enough to keep yard green.looks great!also fescue has deep roots to help with soil erosion in heavy down pours.it’s a win,win with this seed! Will not use anything else after using this in the south.yes it’s that good!my yard looks the best in the neighborhood.I have had many neighbors ask me what I did?

I spread the seed around my yard which was full of weeds around Labor day last year. watered for ab 20 minutes 2ce a day, unless it rained (my water bill still doubled though ugh). I had quite a few sprout bunches within a few weeks and it kept filling in better as it got colder. It stayed green and pretty through the winter but never really died out. THEN Starting in February this year it totally took off. It has been growing and spreading like crazy! It is a beautiful dark green and super soft! I am going to wait to decide to plant more until after I see how well it does in the Arkansas heat and drought this summer.

Ordering these seeds from Amazon saved me $40. From Lowes and Home Depot they were $120. I’ve used these for years and my lawn has always looked great

Mowed, weed-wacked, put down herbicide, and then spread seeds in patched and bare spots.Saw results after two to three weeks.Watered (and it rained) 2-3 times weekly.Seeded once every week.Bonus for being able to withstand high-traffic; our kids and the neighborhood kids play on a swing set under large trees that I’ve been trying to fill in for years. Now there’s actually grass!

This seems worked well.used grass seed in north Carolina.

This definitely worked on my lawn. My yard is partially shaded most of the day and it gets very hot here. Before spreading this I used some aerating shoes (also bought here on Amazon) and walked all through the lawn. After spreading the seed I made sure to water thoroughly and kept watering daily. I’d say in about a month maybe slightly less I saw significant results.

Removed a raised plant bed and wanted grass to grow in the empty spots. I’ve not grown grass from seed before so I crossed my fingers, threw some seed on the ground, watered at 7:00 a.m. on three consecutive mornings to puddle-like saturation. I started to see tiny little green sticking up but wasn’t sure if it was from the grass seed. A few days later it rained for about 10 minutes. Didn’t get a chance to water for another 3-4 days, went out to water and some of the grass had grown a couple inches. Several photos uploaded with dates to show the 10-day progress. No fertilizer or new soil or any type of preparation used.Temperatures midday have been between 85-100 since I started. Lows in the 60s. The patch gets full sun from 10:00 to about 4:00.I have no clue if it will actually be successful long term but it’s already producing grass in non-ideal conditions so I’m hopeful.

Very easy to apply with a spreader or by hand for small areas. I applied it once and watered twice a day for 2 weeks then applied it again after 4 weeks and watered twice per day. Within 3 months my yard has fully grown and filled in all dead areas and has successfully crowded out all the weeds.
